This paper is a highly cited, state-of-the art investigation on the dynamic wetting and spreading phenomena in the presence of surfactants in the case of smooth or porous substrates. It also underpins an EPSRC grant (EP/D077869/1) in collaboration with national (Loughborough University) and international (Leibniz Institute, Germany) institutions. Led to a plenary lecture at the 22nd European Colloid and Interface Society Conference in Poland and to the funding of another EPSRC project EP/D027942/1. |
