Abstract: |
This paper summarize a theoretical propose that is hoped to resolve a long-standing challenge is laser cooling of hydrogen and/or anti-hydrogen. It is found using Balmer-alpha radiation may help to achieve 3D cooling of anti-hydrogen in a magnetic trap to milliKelvin temperatures with suppressed spin-flip and ionization losses. The conclusion is supported by detailed three-dimensional simulations. The continuation of this work is also underway. |
