Abstract: The interplay of classical chaos and quantum stability is a long-standing research topic of both fundamental and practical importance. This work identify the link between "matterwave dephasing in an interferometer" with "displacement Loschmidt echo" in quantum chaos measures. Experimentally it implements a classically-chaotic potential (a periodically kicked rotor) to a state-of-art "Guided atom interferometer", and experimentally demonstrate an non-trivial mathematical relationship between a perturbation strength and a persistent coherence.
