This publication continues the trajectory established in the inaugural edition, showcasing research outputs and practice-informed projects undertaken by postgraduate students enrolled in the MSc Advanced Management (Health Innovation and Transformation and Value-Based Healthcare) and PGCert Applied Innovation programmes. The contributions gathered exemplify the integration of scholarly inquiry with applied practice. Each project addresses contemporary challenges within value-based healthcare, innovation, and transformational change, advancing both theoretical understanding and practical solutions. Collectively, these works reflect not only the academic rigour of our students but also their commitment to fostering measurable impact within their respective professional domains. It also partly addresses some of the developments highlighted in the recent Fit for the Future: The 10 Year Health Plan for England (CP 1350, July 2025).The interdisciplinary composition of the cohort, drawing participants from health, social care, the third sector, and the wider life sciences industry, has further enriched this volume. The breadth of professional expertise and diversity of perspectives contribute to the robustness of the analyses presented and underscore the collaborative ethos that underpins this programme. We wish to acknowledge the Welsh Government for their sustained support of the Innovation Intensive Learning Academy and all those organisations supporting the ILA. Their investment has provided the critical infrastructure required for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the cultivation of innovative practices.Recognition is also due to our repository curators, Ram Gurumoorthy and Laimis Lisauskas, whose careful stewardship and editorial diligence have been essential to the successful realisation of this volume. The Innovation Academy series reaffirms Swansea University and the All-Wales Intensive Learning Academy for Innovation in Health and Social Care’s enduring commitment to advancing innovation scholarship, promoting open access, and contributing to the dissemination of knowledge that informs both policy and practice.
<type>Edited book</type><journal>VALUE-BASED ACADEMY 2024</journal><volume>Volume 1</volume><journalNumber/><paginationStart/><paginationEnd/><publisher>Swansea University</publisher><placeOfPublication>Swansea</placeOfPublication><isbnPrint/><isbnElectronic>978-1-911503-22-4</isbnElectronic><issnPrint/><issnElectronic/><keywords>Value-Based, Innovation Management, Transformational Change</keywords><publishedDay>3</publishedDay><publishedMonth>12</publishedMonth><publishedYear>2025</publishedYear><publishedDate>2025-12-03</publishedDate><doi/><url/><notes/><college>COLLEGE NANME</college><department>Management School</department><CollegeCode>COLLEGE CODE</CollegeCode><DepartmentCode>CBAE</DepartmentCode><institution>Swansea University</institution><apcterm>Not Required</apcterm><funders>Welsh Government - Innovation ILA (MSD1086-100)</funders><projectreference/><lastEdited>2026-02-02T13:38:13.4704755</lastEdited><Created>2026-01-26T15:34:35.2625005</Created><path><level id="1">Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences</level><level id="2">School of Management - Business Management</level></path><authors><author><firstname>Hamish</firstname><surname>Laing</surname><orcid>0000-0002-5661-7937</orcid><order>1</order></author><author><firstname>Helen</firstname><surname>Yu</surname><order>2</order></author><author><firstname>Roderick</firstname><surname>Thomas</surname><order>3</order></author><author><firstname>Daniel</firstname><surname>Rees</surname><orcid>0000-0003-0372-6096</orcid><order>4</order></author><author><firstname>Nicholas</firstname><surname>Rich</surname><orcid>0000-0003-0216-2807</orcid><order>5</order></author><author><firstname>Ram</firstname><surname>Gurumoorthy</surname><orcid>0009-0001-1930-4050</orcid><order>6</order></author></authors><documents><document><filename>71306__36152__9eba21ce6e5d4819ac11f4b62ef56dac.pdf</filename><originalFilename>MSc_AHCM_ValueBased_202425.pdf</originalFilename><uploaded>2026-01-30T14:49:26.6340209</uploaded><type>Output</type><contentLength>13145486</contentLength><contentType>application/pdf</contentType><version>Version of Record</version><cronfaStatus>true</cronfaStatus><documentNotes>© 2025 by The Authors.
