Item Description: |
The eco-physiological zooplankton model of Mitra (2006) was incorporated with the European Regional Seas Ecosystem Model (ERSEM) to describe the zooplankton vital rates in a more biologically realistic fashion. This modification of the ERSEM resulted in a much improved prediction of plankton bloom dynamics. |
