Item Description: |
Soil Aquifer Treatment (SAT) of wastewater is a low cost sustainable tertiary treatment that is relatively less studied as compared to other technologies. This Water Research paper advances our understanding of the effects of the significant operating parameters on the performance of SAT systems. An insight into the mechanisms that describe the removal processes of COD, BOD, and DOC is also gained. The paper also shows the international dimension of my research. Water Research is the No 1 in Water Resources. International collaboration: UNESCO-IHE, The Netherlands; KAUST, Saudi Arabia |
