This was an unexpected output of an on-going research effort which is attempting to revitalise the use of low order methods in the fields of CFD and CEM. The algorithm was devised to provide a solution to the problem of optimising large unstructured dual Voronoi-Delaunay meshes. It has proved to be very popular with the optimisation community. Users from Ford Motor Company, Boeing and Bloomberg Financial Market are among the 900 users who have downloaded the open source software since October 2011. |
