Item Description: |
Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM) technique was applied to hydrogen evolution studies of Pd nanoparticles incorporated within Nafion LB films. This is the first study in which SECM has been used to evaluate the kinetics of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalysed by Pd nanoparticles within Nafion films. The single nanoparticle reactivities have been extracted. The results showed these are comparable to the activity of native nanoparticles on glass and on bulk Pd. The author designed the concept of the experiment and wrote the paper. This is the most important publication published as a result of a Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship. |
