Item Description: This well cited paper comes from a project which involved fabrication and characterisation of novel organic field-effect transistors. The work involved a collaboration between workers at Cambridge, Sheffield, Swansea and Denmark using a variety of different techniques and was led by Prof H Sirringhaus FRS (Cambridge Physics). A. M. Higgins contribution was to perform structural characterisation of the novel dielectric/organic semiconductor film architecture using neutron reflectivity.
