Building on the works Treivish (2014) and Nefedova and Savchuk (2014), it explores the ways in which physical, imagined and metaphorical mobilities produce dacha as a place for escape, belonging and even &#x201C;promised land&#x201D;. The paper interrogates the perceptions of dacha as a relational space that brings together attitudes, habits and practices reproducing multiple and uncertain identities of people inhabiting it (dachniki).
