These include social workers, education professionals, police, legal professionals, health professionals, voluntary / community sector workers, housing providers, UK Borders and Agency (UKBA) staff. A research team was commissioned to undertake this exercise, assisted by a reference group with membership from key service providers and agencies working with young asylum-seeker children in Wales. The research team produced an extensive background research paper based on the findings of a scoping exercise.
