Abstract: The article reports on the findings from the Student Sex Work Project (2012-2015). The project produced the largest data set on student sex workers in Europe. Drawing on this data the paper discusses the motivations and needs of students who are involved in the sex industry. The paper argues for the need to understand sex work from a polymorphous framework which recognises different experiences and challenges.
