Item Description: A robust model of the physical behaviour of steel-concrete-steel Bi-Steel panels has been developed by computational simulation and testing. The research results and recommendations have been adopted into the design guides produced by Corus for the Bi-steel products. This has seen its use in high profile construction projects, such as New Scotland-Yard and the Millennium Tower. The products have also been widely used in costal, off-shore, tunnel and building constructions (Mr Bowerman, bi-steel@ corusgroup.com).
