Item Description: This paper demonstrates a procedure for modifying industrial codes to allow element by element solution. The work was presented as part of a plenary talk at 13th International Heat and Mass Transfer, Sydney, Australia, in August 2006. A significant reduction in both memory and computational cost has been achieved.
