Item Description: |
Depending on the parameters, a reactor experiment on 20-30 km might provide precision measurements of the 3-neutrino mixing parameters competitive with long baseline accelerator experiments. The spectrum hierarchy can be determined by detecting interference patterns in vacuum oscillations, a technique complementary to the matter effects exploited at accelerators |
