Abstract: Journal IF 3.05 This paper presents the results of a successful international research collaboration with China, sponsored by both the UK (DFID) and China governments. It was the very first systematic study on the unique Loess Plateau on climate change impact in water resources. The findings have already been adopted by the central Chinese government for water resources management of the area.
Item Description: Journal IF 3.05This paper presents the results of a successful international research project on climate change impact. I was the leader of the overseas collaborator drawing up the main idea of the original proposal and supervised the research afterwards. The project was initiated and supported by both the UK (DFID) and China governments. The research features one of the first systematic studies on the Loess Plateau on climate change impact in water resources. The outcome of the project has already been adopted by the central Chinese government (the Ministry of Water Resources) for water resources management of the area.
