Item Description: The need of writing that paper arose from a number of discussions with world leading experts during international conferences. This work is the final piece in the research carried out during my PhD thesis since it compares the proposed technique with competing methods. This work was partially developed under the grants DPI2007-62395 awarded by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Spanish Government (Contact: Prof. Pedro Díez) and 2009SGR875 from the Catalan Management Agency of University and Research Grants (Contact: Prof. Antonio Huerta).
